GFMA Submits Response to IOSCO VCM Consultation Report
GFMA submitted a response to the IOSCO Consultation Report to promote the integrity and orderly functioning of the Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCMs).
In the response, GFMA highlights it support’s IOSCO’s efforts to:
- Generate an open and meaningful, cross-industry dialogue with a view to maximizing the potential of VCMs;
- Identify the key considerations relating to VCMs;
- Promote and support the development of sound and well-functioning VCMs that adhere to best practice; and
- Identify, and make recommendations to resolve, uncertainties and overcome limitations within VCMs.
