GFMA appointed member of CFTC Global Markets Advisory Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C., 13 January 2023 ­- The Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA) which represents the leading global financial and capital market participants, today welcomed the announcement from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission of the appointment of the members of its Global Markets Advisory Committee.

 

Adam Farkas, CEO of the GFMA, said: “I am honoured to be appointed as one of the CFTC’s Global Markets Advisory Committee members, representing the GFMA. The Committee is an influential body that advises the regulator on issues affecting market structure, regulation and the integrity and competitiveness of US markets. Given recent global macroeconomic challenges, the work of this committee will be key for addressing global markets issues.”
