This Webinar brings you up-to-date on the continued expansion of the Global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) System and help ensure firms are ready to comply with rapidly-approaching regulatory mandates. It is important that investment firms understand the uses and benefits of the LEI. In addition, firms must be aware of requirements to be introduced with the implementation of MiFID II / MiFIR in Europe that will significantly impact Asian counterparties. Failure to obtain an LEI (by the firm or its client) will prevent firms from being able to comply with the reporting requirements under MiFIR, and potentially from being able to trade, applicable from January 2018.
